About the event
Jeff Rea is the current president and CEO of the South Bend (IN) Regional Chamber of Commerce. In those roles, Rea represents the interests of more than 1100 member businesses who employ more than 60,000 people in North Central Indiana and Southwest Michigan. Rea is the former Mayor of the City of Mishawaka (2004-2010) and before that, City Economic Development Director, and Planner (1994-2004). Rea is a frequent speaker, trainer, facilitator, and commentator. He is the host of WNIT (PBS) Television’s Economic Outlook show, a weekly program that explores the stories, companies and people helping drive the regional economy. He is a columnist for the South Bend Tribune and hosts the Behind the Region Podcast.
His wealth of knowledge will hopefully answer many questions the public has on TIFs.
